• Implement individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, leveraging expertise in mental health to guide decision-making and interventions.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed documentation of treatment plans, daily progress notes, incident reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate and lead consumer support groups to foster community connection and provide psychoeducation on perinatal mental health.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to assess needs and deliver tailored interventions.
• Assist clients in navigating social service needs, maintaining connections with local agencies and community organizations for holistic support.
• Work collaboratively with interns, volunteers, and other team members to plan and promote activities that meet the specific needs of clients.
• Build referral networks within the community, liaising with inpatient facilities and outpatient programs to generate intake referrals.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols, operating in accordance with the ethical guidelines established by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards to reinforce the organization’s accreditation and certification.
• Perform additional duties as required by the clinical team to enhance overall service delivery.

This role primarily focuses on serving clients experiencing perinatal mental health concerns, in addition to other mental health challenges. Our diverse patient population includes expectant and new parents navigating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, as well as individuals seeking support for broader mental health needs. Candidates should be sensitive to the unique challenges faced by this clientele, demonstrating empathy and the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• A valid license to practice in the United States as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team.
• Strong communication skills, exhibiting clarity and conciseness in sharing information while actively listening to clients and colleagues.
• No prior history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with digital platforms and remote client engagement.
• Previous experience providing mental health support specifically in the perinatal context, with understanding the complexities of maternal mental health.
• Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation.
