Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting that embraces flexibility and autonomy. As part of our outpatient office, you will have access to a supportive team of professionals who are dedicated to your success. You will conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home, utilizing advanced technology to ensure high-quality care. Our normal working hours run from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure, confidential one-on-one therapy sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe space for clients to express themselves.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to effectively address clients’ unique mental health challenges.
• Develop customized treatment plans that consider clients’ individual circumstances, goals, and aspirations.
• Assist clients in building self-awareness and implementing healthy coping mechanisms to enhance their emotional resilience.
• Monitor client progress throughout therapy, adapting treatment plans proactively to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor with Foundations Counseling, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their emotional landscapes and develop healthier habits.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Possession of active licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) with no restrictions, allowing you to practice independently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect empathically with a range of clients.
• Experience and comfort in utilizing virtual platforms for therapy sessions, demonstrating a tech-savvy approach.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in the mental health field providing individual or group counseling.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques to cater to different client needs.
• Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, reflective of your experience and contributions.
