Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and ethical individual mental health counseling sessions through video chat, tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to guide clients through their challenges, fostering personal insights and growth.
• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client feedback to effectively address their issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients’ treatment plans, making necessary adjustments as required to ensure ongoing improvement.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for dealing with stress, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing various mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and life transitions. Your work will be crucial in helping clients gain insights into their experiences, establish a deeper understanding of their emotions, and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, with the ability to practice independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in technology, allowing for seamless operation of virtual counseling sessions.
• Commitment to ethical counseling practices and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling methods is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, dependent on the number of hours worked and your level of experience.
