Job description

Augusta Health is seeking an experienced APP to join our Spine Clinic. This position will support one MD in our Spine clinic and 1st assist in the OR.

Practice Highlights

  • Practice Setting: Clinic and OR setting
  • Schedule: 8-10 hour days in OR
  • Call: 24 hour call/shift 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Current Staff: 3 MDs and 3 APPs, CMA/LPNs
  • Clinical Volume: average annual wRVUs ~8,574
  • Clinic: Approx. 6 pts a day, OR support the patients that are on the surgeons schedule
  • Collaboration: Join a highly skilled group of surgeons who are motivated to provide exceptional patient care and value support of an APP. In this environment, teamwork and collaboration are encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Virginia
  • Neurosurgery/spine surgery/general surgery experience (strongly preferred)
  • Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings
