Job description

Our client is seeking a Real Estate Expansion Specialist to support strategic growth and expansion initiatives. This contract role sit in Columbus, OH and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects involving market analysis, site selection, and growth planning. While the position is initially structured as a contract assignment, there may be opportunities for extended engagement based on business needs and performance; however, long-term employment is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities
  • Support forecasting and projection modeling for potential new site openings and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze demographic, geographic, and market data to identify trends and expansion opportunities.
  • Prepare market analyses and site recommendations using internal and external research.
  • Maintain and improve datasets, mapping tools, and reporting resources used for planning and decision-making.
  • Perform pre-opening and post-opening evaluations to measure site performance and business impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support real estate planning and execution activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Analytics, Geography, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets related to real estate
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions
  • Experience with data visualization, mapping, or GIS tools is a plus
  • Ability to interpret data and present actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
