Product areas includes Advanced Strategic Programs and Missile Defense Programs. Candidate will develop, plan, and schedule proposal activities in coordination with proposal team. Develops proposals in accordance with RFP specifications, TINA, FAR, DFAR, and company policies and procedures.

Will analyze and compile historical data, build cost models and assist in the development of cost estimates to support quick turn pricing exercises. Participates in fact-finding meetings and pricing reviews with management and the customer. Standard Job Description: Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy,Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Bus.

System Requirements & other govt. regulations. Shapes, develops & matures bus.

case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy. Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow. Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specs.

Coordinates the collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from functional departments. Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including rate studies & analysis, bus. case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR & presents analyses & recommendations to leaders.

Researches & analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts & determination of accuracy of functional estimates. Participates in should-cost & pricing reviews with mngmt & customer reps. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team & interacts with DCAA /other audit agencies.

Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within pricing & estimating functions. May provide day-to-day direction & guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts. Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented.

Possesses comprehensive written & oral communications skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies. Basic Qualifications Microsoft Office Applications and analytical abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to obtain a secret clearance (US citizenship required) Desired Skills Experience in the aerospace/defense industry Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline Advanced Excel skills Proposal cost estimator experience Knowledge of the proposal process and BOEs Current Secret or Top Secret clearance 2 + years of related experience and a degree in a related discipline. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
