Job description

Overview
TA Services Group is a full-service installation contractor that caters to industrial clients.
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our electrical and mechanical installation team. Will work closely with a project manager and team on all areas of construction projects. Work is predominantly from our office in Marietta. Visits to our client sites in the metro Atlanta area may be required at times.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Work multiple projects and tasks at once
โ€ข Organize and review project scopes, drawings, and specifications
โ€ข Collect safety documents weekly from field personnel
โ€ข Print large scale construction drawings and installation documents
โ€ข Request pricing from vendors and suppliers
โ€ข Write proposals
โ€ข Assist in executing project plans and schedules
โ€ข Coordinate with subcontractors
โ€ข Attend and document project meetings
โ€ข Support onboarding of new field team members
โ€ข Process change order requests
Qualifications
โ€ข Electrical construction experience required.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
โ€ข Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
โ€ข Able to work both independently and within a team
โ€ข 2-5+ years of industrial or mechanical construction experience
โ€ข Experience working in an office setting
โ€ข Accubid or estimating experience a plus but not required
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication
Essential Functions
โ€ข Must be capable of walking throughout a large manufacturing plant for required meetings and other required duties.
โ€ข Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) according to company and client policies.
