Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager supports both the Estimating and Project Management teams by coordinating project documentation, assisting with vendor communications, and contributing to the preparation and execution of project deliverables. This role is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Estimating Department as directed by the Estimating Manager
  • Support Project Managers with project-related tasks and documentation
  • Prepare and maintain documents and templates related to vendor quotes, P&ID take-offs, and project deliverables
  • Compile and organize information required for Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for equipment procurement
  • Request and retrieve additional information from vendors as needed
  • Participate in client and vendor meetings when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in project management or a related field is a plus

License/Certifications

  • Valid driver's license required

Experience

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in project management, estimating, or a related field preferred
