We're currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to add to our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico! This role offers you the opportunity to be a key member of our project management team, contributing to our ongoing, long-term large medical project.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager and/or the Client in the successful delivery of several high-profile concurrent projects from pre-design to close-out.
  • Assist with the review of project specifications and regulations while collaborating with architects, consultants, and other technical staff.
  • Assist with field activities to help ensure all work is completed according to project plans and within the established schedule, including identifying potential scheduling conflicts and supporting resolution efforts.
  • Support the implementation of institutional planning objectives and strategies within project plans.
  • Assist with budget development activities and contractor procurement/selection processes.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to support project budgets, schedules, and overall project objectives.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of project policies and procedures to support efficient project execution.
  • Prepare written reports, presentations, briefings, and other technical documentation related to project status and progress.
  • Support field activities to help ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, schedules, and project constraints.
  • Coordinate active construction project work with Client operational needs in active facilities.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of project pace and schedule in coordination with office-based cost and schedule support teams.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Management or the construction industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with healthcare or high education projects preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
