Your role

Join our team as a Senior Project Manager with the British Columbia team.

Weโ€™re looking for outstanding project leaders who are organized, have a keen eye for details and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish โ€“ on time and on budget with our British Columbia business unit. Youโ€™re good at building strong, trusting client relationships and have a knack for bringing the right people together to come up with innovative ideas and solutions. This position will empower and support a team of project managers and assistant project managers, helping to drive impactful projects foward.

To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of experience leading projects and be able to demonstrate a portfolio varying in scope and complexity with depth in sewer and drainage projects. Ideally you will bring experience that focuses on municipal infrastructure projects, specializing in water and wastewater.


  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, applying your deep understanding of design, construction and operation of water and wastewater facilities and associated infrastructure assets.
  • Provide project leadership and design review expertise to the client's projects, representing their best interests and achieving their strategic end goals.
  • Apply your leadership and communication skills to lead, delegate, and empower staff across multiple high-performing project delivery teams.
  • Lead the planning, preparation, and delivery of compelling presentations.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with our ISO certified quality management system.
  • Lead and educate clients through the set-up, initiation, execution, monitoring and reporting of their projects.
  • Act as the key relationship holder with the Client to understand their needs, and develop and execute account management plans.
  • Lead and support the pursuit of new business.

  • A minimum of 8 years experience as a Project Manager, ideally representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in sectors such as municipal infrastructure, ideally in the Water & Wastewater industry.
  • A university degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil or a related engineering discipline required (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • P.Eng. designation required 
  • Extensive client facing experience in the delivery of related projects.
  • Led and/or significantly contributed to the preparation of RFP/Qโ€™s, tenders and tender awards.
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of design and construction delivery models.
  • Experience in leading projects through the full project life cycle (planning, design and construction) in new development and building improvement projects.
  • Experience closing new business, winning key pursuits (incl. client interviews)
  • A degree or diploma in a construction-related discipline.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • A broad written and verbal communication skill set including strong presentation, stakeholder facilitation and report writing skills.
  • Effective client, stakeholder, and people management skills, matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of commercial, people, client and technical issues.

Approximate Base Salary Range for Role: $97,920 -$134,640 CAD. 

Base Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Annual bonus opportunities are in addition to base salary.
