Job description

Vicon Construction is a specialized self-performing concrete subcontractor known for delivering projects on time and within budget - consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to assist Project Managers/Estimators with the daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution, tracking and filing of paperwork - including but not limited to contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, pay requests, insurance certificates, legal notices, warranties, and project close-out documents.
  • Assist Project Managers with contract review to ensure scope of work matches proposal; contract negotiation; if needed.
  • Support to field personnel with scheduling, requests for information, field directives, material and equipment procurement.
  • Assist with estimating of new construction projects and pricing of changes in scope of work for ongoing construction activities.
  • Update and maintain logs for submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, field directives, daily reports, owner amp; subcontractor change orders.
  • Assisting Project Mangers in all assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in construction preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
