Job description

What you will do...
  • Supervise lower-level Natural Resources Engineer(s) and Natural Resources Engineer Technician(s).
  • Produce and/or review Engineer sealed plan sets and bid documents for construction.
  • Provide technical assistance for development on future and current Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) projects sites.
  • Assist with development and implementation of engineering procedures/policies.
  • Act as a project manager for assigned projects.
  • Starting hourly pay of $40.40/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $57.67/hr.
  • There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer t o Pay Rate and Longevity Tables | Department of Administrative Services

Qualifications
Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board AND 12 mos. exp. as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 or 12 mos. equivalent related engineering experience.
