Carter Run is a growing Civil Engineering / Land Development Consulting Firm located in Warrenton, Virginia. We specialize in engineering design for residential and commercial projects, land planning services, and consulting.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in site development engineering and a desire to grow within a dynamic firm.

The ideal candidate is a Civil Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in civil site design who desires to grow with the Firm. The qualified individuals will perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects that vary in size and complexity.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineered site/grading plans, including all required details and supporting information for local approvals.

  • Assist Project Managers with schedules, budgets, and sub-consultant coordination.
  • Design and specify site engineering elements, such as underground drainage and stormwater management systems.
  • Create base maps, site test fits, and engineering reports for site due diligence.
  • Attend client and jurisdictional meetings with project teams.
  • Collaborate with local municipalities for approvals and permits.
