Position Title: Project Engineer

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 / Year DOE
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review submittals
  • Write and track RFIs and assist in change orders
  • Prepare and maintain meeting agendas and minutes
  • Maintain construction drawings and provide marketing assistance
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with subcontract and schedule administration
  • Keep up to date on construction drawings and as-builts
  • Prepare and manage procurement tracking logs
  • Monitor and enforce safety and OSHA standards
  • Participate in the job closeout process
  • Document construction activities consistently

Project Engineer Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a general contractor
  • General contracting experience is required
  • Commercial construction experience is necessary
  • Understanding of RFIs and submittals
  • Experience working on projects valued at $20-25M
  • Attention to detail and ambition are essential
  • A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
  • Industrial experience is preferred
  • Experience with $35M projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or Procore is preferred
  • A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
