Job description

Project Manager – Bridge Utility Construction

Bridge Masters, Inc. | Redmond, Oregon

$120,000–$150,000/year DOE | Full-Time | Office-Based, Travel as Needed

About Bridge Masters

Bridge Masters is a nationally recognized specialty contractor focused on bridge-mounted utility installations and complex infrastructure projects. We partner with telecom providers, utility companies, public agencies, and prime contractors across the western United States on projects that demand technical expertise and sharp execution. We're family-owned and built on integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to own projects from contract award through final closeout. You'll lead pre-construction planning, procurement, scheduling, and client coordination, then partner with the Construction Manager as projects move into the field. Many of our jobs require months of planning before mobilization, so this role is critical to getting projects field-ready and keeping them on track.

This is an operational leadership role. As Bridge Masters grows, you'll help build the systems and standards that support that growth.

What You'll Own

Pre-Construction

  • Lead all pre-construction activity from contract award through mobilization
  • Build and maintain project schedules, milestones, and procurement timelines
  • Review contracts, specs, and drawings to identify risk and set the execution plan
  • Coordinate permits, subcontracts, insurance, and startup documentation
  • Run kickoff and turnover meetings so field teams start ready

Procurement & Resources

  • Build procurement schedules and drive timely purchasing of materials and equipment
  • Track long-lead items and get ahead of schedule risk
  • Coordinate labor and equipment needs with the Construction Manager
  • Track deliveries, inventory, and project readiness

Client & Project Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders in Bluebeam
  • Run coordination meetings and keep office and field aligned
  • Keep project records organized start to finish

Construction Support

  • Partner with the Construction Manager to transition projects into active construction
  • Support active jobs through procurement, scheduling, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate across clients, engineers, and vendors to protect the schedule

Financial & Closeout

  • Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
  • Own project financial tracking and forecasting
  • Lead closeout: as-builts, warranties, final documentation

What You Bring

Required

  • 8+ years in construction project management
  • Strong Bluebeam Revu skills
  • Advanced Excel skills for tracking, scheduling, and reporting
  • Experience building schedules in Excel, MS Project, or similar
  • Sharp organizational skills and follow-through
  • Working knowledge of construction materials, site planning, and safety
  • Experience with budgeting and cost management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently with remote supervision
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Preferred

  • Utility construction experience (telecom, electric power, water, sewer, or similar)
  • Experience running multiple active projects at once
  • Familiarity with labor law, timekeeping, and prevailing wage compliance

Compensation & Benefits

  • $120,000–$150,000/year DOE
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates
  • 401(k) with immediate eligibility and company match
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision after 60 days
  • Flexible PTO and paid holidays
  • Professional development and advancement opportunities
  • Family-oriented culture with real growth opportunity

Why Bridge Masters
