Description


PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assist Engineering with troubleshooting day to day production floor issues, NPI builds and activity, updating and creating assembly SOPs & Visual Aids, Operations Training, Reworks, and cable file creation for CCBU.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and Update assembly SOPs for CCBU.

  • Assist with NPI builds and help lead activity on production floor to meet TRI date and shipment.

  • Assist Engineering with Pre-TRI documentation.

  • Create and maintain cable files for CCBU.

  • Assist in the implementation of ECNโ€™s and reworks needed for production.

  • Provide Training to Operations regarding new products and processes.

  • Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason, even when dealing with emotional topics

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.

  • Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY.


Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner



  • Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

  • Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent preferred.

  • Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • PC skills including Windows, MS Work, MS Excel, MS access or related software.

  • Creative problem-solving ability and strong communication skills.

  • Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision.

  • Ability to function and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong sense of process, detail and follow through
