What is an assistant program analyst?

Assistant Program Analysts are entry-level professionals who support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs within an organization. They typically assist senior analysts by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and helping to ensure that projects meet organizational goals and compliance standards. Their work often involves conducting research, coordinating with different departments, and offering recommendations for process improvements. This role is common in government agencies, nonprofits, and large corporations, serving as a stepping stone to more advanced analyst positions.

What does an assistant program analyst do?
