Job description

SUMMARY
The School of Education and Behavioral Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Science in Counselor Education program and will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Christian faith, excellence in teaching, and a passion for preparing future counselors. Within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, faculty members prepare students for clinical licensure through a rigorous academic curriculum, field-based experiential learning, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and intentional mentoring relationships.
STATUS:
This position is based on our West Palm Beach campus and may include both on-campus and remote teaching responsibilities. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
EDUCATION:
Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program, required. Licensed or license eligible as a professional counselor or related credential, required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess knowledge of CACREP standards and accreditation processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position.
  • Prior experience with online and hybrid course delivery, preferred.
  • 2+ years prior teaching experience in higher education and a record of scholarly activity, preferred.
POSITION DETAILS:
The position is a full-time position, with a starting date of January 1, 2027.
