Position Title: Assistant Professor - Pathology
Position involves clinical and teaching components. Clinical duties include general surgical pathology, on-call rotation, and may include multiple site assignments. Teaching involves both classroom instruction and clinical setting mentoring/education of medical students and residents. Participation in clinical research encouraged.
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity
Qualifications
Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Requires medical degree or foreign equivalent

Experience
  • Pathology residency 
  • Must be able to obtain unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
  • Anatomic Pathology board certification required.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Anatomic and Clinical Pathology board certification is preferred.
