Job description

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
Monday-Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
After hours maintenance of systems is an expectation. This position is also part of an on-call rotation.
Variations from these hours may be made based on the needs of the department.
The Service Desk Technician's role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as requiring that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.
Education and Experience Required:
  • A diploma or degree in the field of computer science, and/or 1 year of equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware
  • Basic understanding of OSI
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including strong documentation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated, able to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.
Benefits & Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $24.00-$35.95, initial pay based on relevant work experience.
Additional compensation when on-call.
Our clinic environment offers primarily daytime, weekday schedules, helping employees maintain consistency in their daily routines. All employees scheduled 60-80 hours per pay period are eligible for full benefits.
