Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an AVMA accredited program Must hold a current license in the state of Louisiana Ability to teach a combination of undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses within a Veterinary Technology program. Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: General Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Care and Health, Diseases of Animals, Clinical Parasitology, Hospital Technology, Veterinary Radiology Job Duties and Other Information Teach assigned undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in the Veterinary Technology curriculum

Evaluate students regularly and reports progress in a timely manner. Participate in program assessment, curriculum review, and continuous improvement efforts. Participates in faculty meetings and serves on all appropriate department and university committees.

Maintains confidentiality in accordance with federal laws and university policy. Assist with AVMA-CVTEA accreditation activities, including documentation, data collection, and preparation for site visits and reports. Maintain clinical relevance through professional development or clinical practice.

Contribute to departmental, program, and university service activities. Support student advising, mentoring, recruitment, and retention efforts. Represents the Department in a professional manner in all activities.
