Job description

Bethel University is seeking applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of American History post-1877. Expectations are teaching 12 hours per Fall/Spring semester in American History survey and upper-level classes in late 19h and 20th century; specialty in African American History preferred; experience in Public History appreciated.
Successful applicants are expected to participate in advising, curriculum development, and committee service for the wider Bethel University community.
PhD in hand required, advanced ABD considered.
