The Biology Department at Carthage College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology position in Biology with a focus on Cell Biology starting August 15, 2027 or possibly January 15, 2027. For best consideration for applications should be received by October 1, 2026.The successful candidate will join an expanding Biology Department to teach courses in Introductory Biology, Advanced Cell Biology and as well as other upper-level biology courses based upon their area of expertise. Applicants are required to have a PhD in Biology with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and the ability to establish a productive research program with undergraduates.
