Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY                                                                                                                                       
Responsible to function as an Inventory Control/Management. The inventory control professional is responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels. They must report shortages, overages and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment. To follow all IATF16949, ISO 9001and 6S instructions.      
                                                                                                                                                     
PRINCIPLE DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE JOB
-Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including product profiles and product locations.
-Monitor releases, EDI and emails to ensure Customer requirements are met
-Clear communication with Inventory Hub, Production Control and Purchasing on inventory levels and locations.
-Monitor scheduled inventory cycle counts.
-Utilize internal ERP system to monitor inventory levels. 
-Keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval
-Provide accurate data to Production Control to assist in daily scheduling.
-Tracking the distribution of inventory and monitoring established min/max levels.
- Monitor offsite warehouse Inventory and transactions.
-Conducting a daily audit of inventory.
-Provide routine management information on inventory performance; utilizing system generated reports.
-Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are chased and followed up until received.
-Implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage and inventory obsolescence.
-Maintain a record of all transfers and disposal 
 
AUTHORITY: 
Accountable for ERP Management Systems as it pertains to this position.
 
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
-2+ years’ experience in a production/Inventory control role and working on inventory software and programs.
-2+ years’ experience engaging technical teams and/or manufacturing teams. 
-Strong people skills. Ability to handle pressure and changing priorities.
-Should possess strong calculative and analytical skill sets.
-Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines.
-Good written and verbal communication with internal resources
