GeoLogicsย is working with a top Aerospace and Defense client looking for a Tech/Pro Master Planner inย Fort Worth, TX

Role:ย Technical/Professional Master Planner

Client:ย Top Aerospace and Defense company

Clearance:ย Ability to Obtainย 

Location:ย Fort Worth, TX

Contract Length and Schedule:ย 1 year long with possibility of extension, 4/10

Education:ย Bachelor's Degree Required plus 9 yr exp.

Rate:ย $90 to $145 DOE (per hour on a non-benefitted W2 contract)

Job Description:

This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs. Candidate will have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. Candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required. Must be self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.ย 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Critical Path
  • Experience in schedule control processes, complex proposal development, internal & external audits, and project management integration
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
  • Experience working Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs
  • Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
  • Demonstrated Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report)
  • Experience with Milestones Professional software

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
  2. Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
  3. Experience working Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs ย
