Job Summary

Production of Poly-ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include operation of saws and packaging equipment. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, sheet length, and linear feet.

Pay Range: $24.00 to $25.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment setup, and upkeep of saws and associated equipment.
  • Operate and troubleshoot, Saw control consoles.
  • Operate and troubleshoot, crosscut, take critical measurements
  • Maintain the use of mold release.
  • Communicate product attributes to process operator for correction.
  • Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process and equipment.
  • Ensure quality and proper facer makings.
  • Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.
  • Assist in training of new team members.
  • Safe/Proper disposal of waste chemical.
  • Maintaining 5S Checklist
  • Fill in other areas of the plant as required

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and Certified in Lock-out, Tag-out Program, Forklift, and Confined Space
  • Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
  • Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.

Working Conditions:

  • Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
    • Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
    • Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
    • Noise of industrial machinery
  • Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
