Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Pricing Manager to support the Health and State & Local Sector. This leader will serve as a key business partner to Sector leadership and an integral member of the Peraton Pricing Organization. The Pricing Manager will oversee a team of Pricing professionals and lead the development of compliant, accurate, and competitive cost proposals supporting strategic growth initiatives across the Health and State & Local portfolio. This position will be located in the Reston Town Center building with in-office expectations of four days a week.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Pricing professionals, including day-to-day oversight, training, mentoring, staffing, career development, and quality review of work products for three to four direct reports.
  • Partner with Sector and corporate stakeholders to advise on risk mitigation and develop competitive, compliant, and strategically aligned price strategies.
  • Provide expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other applicable federal, state, and local government regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with Peraton's company-wide estimating system, Corporate policies, and sector-specific requirements.
  • Interpret RFP pricing requirements and advise management on pricing rights, obligations, compliance considerations, and areas of potential risk.
  • Serve as a primary representative of the Pricing function for both internal and external engagements across proposals, programs, and customer interfaces.
  • Review solicitations and oversee preparation of compliant, accurate responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications across the Health and State & Local sectors.
  • Support development of cost volumes in coordination with Capture Management, Pricing Strategy, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, and technical teams.
  • Manage cost proposal schedules, ensuring timely completion of all milestones, management reviews, approvals, and final submission deliverables.
  • Review pricing models, basis-of-estimate documentation, and cost volume narratives to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, corporate policy, and customer requirements.
  • Support subcontract pricing activities, including development of pricing templates, evaluation of subcontractor submissions, and negotiation support.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including DCAA, DCMA, and state-level review bodies.
  • Contribute to Pricing Organization initiatives including training, policy compliance, process improvement, and toolset enhancements.
  • Oversee award bookings and ensure accurate reporting aligned with corporate financial systems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing, estimating, or financial analysis, including experience supporting federal or state/local government contracts.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to interface effectively at all organization levels.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing a geographically distributed team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with ProPricer or similar pricing tools.
  • US Citizenship

Desired Qualifications
  • MBA or related advanced degree.
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI security clearance a plus.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
