Job Description

The Jr. Pricing Coordinator is an entry-level role within the Pricing team, responsible for supporting accurate and timely pricing administration across a defined scope of pricing agreements. Working under the guidance of a Pricing Supervisor, the Jr. Pricing Coordinator takes ownership of pricing agreement (PA) extensions and material credit processing, while providing day-to-day administrative support to Pricing Coordinators. This role is an ideal starting point for individuals looking to build a foundation in pricing operations, develop analytical skills, and grow within the Sales Administration function.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process and administer pricing agreement extensions accurately and within established timelines, ensuring continuity of pricing assigned to accounts.

  • Handle material credit requests, verifying proper approvals as well as verifying accuracy and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely credits.

  • Assist Pricing Team with daily pricing maintenance tasks, data entry and system updates as needed.

  • Utilize strong analytical skills to meet deadlines, build accurate pricing for unique agreements, maintain pricing hierarchy integrity, and provide administrative support-including running routine and ad hoc reports.

  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve pricing issues with Customer Care using logic skills, attention to details.

  • Collaborate with team members to continuously look for opportunities to improve processes.

  • Collaborate across Sales, Customer Care, Finance, and Logistics to support seamless operations while maintaining strong focus, attention to detail, and the flexibility needed to meet evolving customer needs.

  • Provide consistent phone coverage and manage high communication volume, delivering prompt, professional support while responding to roughly 300 emails and calls each week.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or work experience in a multi-functional, high-volume processing environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of Pricing experience preferred

  • Have strong computer skills and be proficient in MS applications, specifically Excel.

  • Must have strong organizational skills as well as excellent people skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Must have a strong work ethic and drive to achieve established goals and deadlines, with a desire for, and commitment to learning and growth

  • Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to think proactively and manage time effectively. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimum supervision

  • Self-motivated and able to contribute individually as well as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and work closely with others to understand the organization

  • Experience with BI (Qlik /Power BI) and databases (CRM, data warehouse, ERP, etc.) a plus

  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines and to manage tight timelines as required

  • Victaulic product knowledge desired
