JOB SUMMARY

The Prep Cook is responsible for safely preparing food items, following menu specifications and standard recipes, and for service to guests in all outlets as dictated by the kitchen Leadership Team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. 
  • Prepares food as directed by the Chef or Shift Leader to the specifications of recipes and standards.
  • Follows standardized recipes and/ or presentation procedures to specific detail.
  • Assist in preparation of all pantry and hot line items for daily service.
  • Properly stores and labels all food product.
  • Able to perform related duties in any or for station or outlet assigned.
  • Assists with daily specials.
  • Meets or exceeds industry standards for preparation, serving and storing of food.
  • Ensures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with Local, State and Federal Health Department codes.
  • Promotes outstanding guest relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
  • Performs all other duties assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Abilities demonstrated in handling the banquets and food outlet effectiveness.
  • Be in constant communication with BOH Team Members.
  • Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Black Non-slip shoes required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalence.
  • One to two years of related experience preferred
  • Must be able to complete any classes or certifications required.
  • Able to obtain a valid Racing License.
