Job Summary

My Neighbor Felix is currently hiring for both Line Cook and Prep Cook positions. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in producing quality food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

Whether your strengths are executing dishes during service or preparing ingredients that set the kitchen up for success, you'll play an important role in delivering a consistent, high-quality dining experience for every guest.

Candidates may be hired as either a Line Cook or Prep Cook based on experience, qualifications, and current business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to company recipes, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Properly set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after each shift.

  • Execute food accurately, consistently, and within established ticket times.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.

  • Assist with daily food preparation, labeling, rotation, stocking, and inventory as needed.

  • Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment.

  • Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen team members, and front-of-house staff.
