Job description


Do you want to contribute to bringing America's warfighters home safely? Do you want to be a part of a cause greater than yourself? Join the Manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art Huntsville facility, supporting the development and production of critical EW systems for the warfighter. The Engineering Assistant role includes a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
This is a first shift position working a 4/10(Monday-Thursday) schedule OR a 9/80 with every other Friday off.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing & Maintenance: Operate, calibrate, and diagnose electronic components and systems using schematics, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.
  • ESS Operations: Set up, profile, and operate Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment, managing the interface between hardware and software.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform complex fault isolation and apply non-standard test techniques to resolve intricate system issues.
  • Engineering Support: Provide technical guidance to engineers on prototype development, modify test equipment to meet customer requirements, and conduct root-cause evaluations for corrective action.
  • Documentation: Develop operational procedures, recommend method improvements, and prepare detailed technical reports.

This nature of this position requires the individual to be 100% on-site.

Required Skills and Education

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance production schedules with engineering priorities
