• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments that include detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic evaluations to determine the underlying causes of pain.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, adjusting approaches based on ongoing patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Execute various medical procedures and minor surgical interventions related to pain management, such as joint injections or nerve blocks, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, available treatment options, and lifestyle changes that can positively impact their pain levels and overall health.
• Maintain meticulous and current medical records, documenting patient interactions, treatment responses, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care.

As a Physician Assistant focusing on pain management, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain syndromes. Your role will be crucial in providing supportive care and education, guiding patients towards effective pain relief strategies, and empowering them to take control of their health.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in California.
• Proven clinical skills with the ability to work autonomously within your scope of practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
• A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and a desire to positively impact patient lives.

• Previous experience in pain management or a closely related field is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient data and streamline communication.
