Description
The Marketing Specialist (Field & Content Execution) is responsible for executing local marketing initiatives, coordinating events, capturing content, and supporting day-to-day marketing operations. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys both creative work (photo/video/content) and operational execution (events, coordination, materials). You will work closely with our Marketing team to bring campaigns to life and support our sales team by ensuring marketing runs smoothly at the local level.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Events & Shows Coordination
• Coordinate logistics for local events (registration, materials, utilities, scheduling)
• Prepare and organize booth materials (flyers, signage, displays, QR codes, merchandise)
• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Support on-site execution as needed
Content Creation & Field Capture
• Capture photos and videos of installations, team activity, and events
• Edit basic content using tools like Canva or mobile editing apps
• Organize and deliver content to the marketing team for use across channels
• Help maintain a consistent flow of fresh, local content
Strategic Partnership Support
• Create and distribute partner materials (flyers, packets, collateral, swag)
• Assist with onboarding new partners and sharing marketing assets
• Maintain tracking documents and support partnership-related campaigns
Marketing Operations & Coordination
• Coordinate printing and distribution of marketing materials (flyers, door hangers, brochures, etc.)
• Manage inventory of marketing materials and supplies
• Assist with local campaigns such as direct mail, sponsorships, and promotions
• Support donation tracking and community engagement initiatives
Digital & Social Media Support
• Assist with digital campaign production through web and CRM
• Assist with preparing and scheduling posts across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Monitor comments/messages and flag for follow-up as needed
• Social listening and monitoring
• Support local engagement and brand consistency
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or content creation
• Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools
• Photo and video capture/editing skills (smartphone-level acceptable with a strong eye)
• Comfortable working both in the office and in the field (local events & job sites)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple team members
• Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and follow through
