What is an assistant personal assistant?

Assistant Personal Assistants are professionals who support personal assistants or executives by handling various administrative and organizational tasks. Their duties may include scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, organizing files, booking travel arrangements, and assisting with day-to-day activities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, polished demeanor.

  • Dependable attendance, responsiveness, and a demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, direct, and accountability-driven environment.

  • Willingness to occasionally assist with time-sensitive matters outside standard business hours when necessary.

  • Ability to learn new systems, follow established processes, and identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a law firm, professional-services firm, executive office, or other confidential environment.

  • Experience supporting an attorney, business owner, executive, or senior leader.

  • Familiarity with client confidentiality and document-management practices.
