Parts Salesperson

Department: Parts
Reports to: Parts Manager
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm)

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Parts Salesperson to support customers at the front counter and over the phone. This role focuses on helping customers find the right parts quickly, accurately, and professionally while supporting parts sales and building longterm customer relationships.

You’ll be the first point of contact for many customers, so strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a customerfirst attitude are key.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers at the front counter and provide prompt, courteous service
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with parts inquiries
  • Look up, quote, and sell parts accurately using dealership systems
  • Recommend related or complementary parts when appropriate
  • Create and process customer orders, invoices, and returns
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping/receiving to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Communicate parts availability, pricing, and delivery timelines clearly
  • Resolve basic parts issues and escalate nonstandard concerns when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized front counter and customer area
  • Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous parts, automotive, truck, or retail sales experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and learning parts and inventory systems
  • Attention to detail with accurate cash handling and invoicing
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Positive attitude, teamfocused mindset, and professional conduct
