Qualifications:
1 year Manufacturing Operator Manufacturing environment as an operator and or lead role Required
Plant Manufacturing/Industrial Experience
Knowledge of plant manufacturing in an industrial
Maintenance experience in 24 hr continuous
process environment. Preferred
Customer Service/Product Strong customer service focus, teaming and collaborative approach Preferred
Communication/Agility Flexible and open-minded with good written and oral communication Preferred
Familiar in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and web tools. Preferred
Forklift Certification Preferred
Heavy Equipment Preferred
Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, the main role of the Packer is to support all operations related to the production operations at the site, including adhering to all Good Manufacturing Policies and the Food Safety Program. This position will support in other areas in the plant directly reporting into the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities Include But are Not Limited to:
Follows all company and OSHA safety policies, procedures, and programs
Adheres to all Food Safety Programs and Regulations to meet requirements for Food Grade Certifications producing safe, high-quality products
Maintain a clean work area
Operates equipment, palletizers, packers, and/or drives a forklift, to assist production operations
Inspects Packaging Materials prior to changeovers to ensure correct inventories for production runs. Returns Packaging Materials after completion of production runs, if needed.
Comply with the administration of operational processes for all production reports, food safety program and any other processes in the designated production operation.
Ability to hand-stack 50/40 lbs. bags when needed for rework or normal production as needed
Assist in the loading of finished products throughout shift
Assist in maintaining all common areas (Janitorial Duties)
Flexible in taking lunch and breaks when workflow requires.
Working Conditions
Mining and Warehouse environment, with limited HVAC, exposure to dust, chemicals, temperature changes and noise. Minimum of 40 hours per week, additional hours may be required, Shift rotation and weekend work may be required.
High School Diploma / GED Preferred

Onsite interviews, must have steel toe boots, bring lunch (off-site location may take longer than 30 minutes) and refillable water bottle. Very dusty environment, hot & dry- swamp coolers in some areas, will also work out doors when needed.
