What does an assistant overnight manager do?

An Assistant Overnight Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating staff and operations during overnight shifts, typically in retail, hospitality, or warehouse settings. Their duties commonly include overseeing inventory restocking, ensuring customer service standards are met, handling emergencies or issues that arise overnight, and supporting the overnight team. They also help prepare the store or facility for the next business day and may assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
