Registered Nurse (RN)

Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Duties and Responsibilities

ยท Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents

ยท Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning

ยท Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards

ยท Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures

ยท Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts

ยท Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input

ยท Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care

ยท Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Skills and Qualifications

ยท BSN from an accredited school of nursing required

ยท Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Texas required

ยท BLS certification from the AHA required
