Through classroom instruction, clinical practice, and research, we aspire to prepare students to address emerging issues in the mental health field. The department has seven areas of emphasis: LGBTQ+, Pediatric Behavioral Health, Diversity and Community Mental Health (DCMH), Forensic,, Neuropsychology, and Trauma.
