Job description

Position Overview

At Bliss Life Candy, we don’t just make candy—we engineer premium, innovative confections. We are looking for a sharp, proactive Production Assistant & Line Operator to join our tight-knit manufacturing team.

This is not a position for someone who wants to stand in one spot and wait for instructions. We are seeking a capable, self-motivated individual with strong common sense who actively looks for ways to be helpful. If you are someone who notices a bottleneck on a production line, figures out a solution, and jumps right in to help the team keep moving, you belong here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active Line Support: Assist with daily candy manufacturing operations, including cooking, machine monitoring, batch scaling, and packaging lines.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Monitor the flow of the production line. Anticipate the next step in the process and step in to help teammates before being asked.
  • Machine & Station Maintenance: Help keep specialized candy-making machinery running smoothly by ensuring raw ingredients are fed properly and output areas stay clear.
  • Quality Control: Maintain an alert eye on product consistency, ensuring our high-quality standards are met in every single batch.
  • Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation to comply with strict food safety standards. Clean and sanitize equipment during line changeovers.

Physical & Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, commercial baking, or a fast-paced warehouse/assembly environment is a major plus, but we will train the right person.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably throughout a shift.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.

This position is for 7am to 3:30pm , Monday through Friday. Major holidays off.
