Job description

Work Schedule: Scheduled typically within the time frame of 6a-8p Monday-Friday. Occasional Saturdays may be required as business needs dictate.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Summary: The Assistant Operations Manager handles a variety of functions in order to ensure the smooth operation of the assigned location. The Assistant Operations Manager oversees daily business operations, improves overall business functions, trains staff, manages budgets in collaboration with corporate personnel, enforces company policies, and communicates business objectives. The Assistant Operations Manager is required to learn, understand and manage the local operation. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with Corporate management to ensure overall success of Pride Delivery and Installation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages in-bound process.

Manages load-out process.

Oversees driver check-in processes.

Oversees inventory processes.

Handles routing and delivery scheduling.

Manages warehouse operations.

Manages facility (general maintenance, equipment, etc)

Handles QC duties - visits job sites, establishes rapport with project managers, ensures site readiness.

Oversees all vehicle maintenance in coordination with Safety & Fleet Director.

Ensure all safety and compliance requirements are followed.

Manages staff - holds staff accountable, enforces all policies as outlined by the Corporate office.
