Job description

Operations Manager (HVAC, Plumbing, & Electrical)
Climate Experts - Melbourne, FLLocally Owned & Growing Fast
Compensation: Base Salary + Performance Bonus Plan
We don't need a technician who wants an office. We need a Leader who commands the scoreboard.
We are looking for a powerhouse Service Manager to take absolute control over our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service technicians. Your job is to maximize daily call-by-call efficiency, protect the company culture, and drive service department revenue.
No trade experience? No problem. We can teach you the technical nuances of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. What we cannot teach is grit, absolute accountability, and the ability to lead a team of competitive field technicians. If you have run high-volume operations in retail, logistics, or the military, your skills will translate perfectly here.
THE ONBOARDING & PROBATION PLAN
Every manager entering our company goes through our structured probationary pipeline:
  • Initial Phase: Paid onboarding focused on learning our metrics, call-by-call tracking, and workflow management systems.
  • In-Role Probation: You enter the field role full-time. This is your probation period to prove you can hold technicians accountable and hit target metrics.
  • Graduation: Upon successful graduation from probation, your pay increases to our standard manager base salary plus a performance bonus plan tied directly to your department's gross profit and efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • Call-by-Call Management: Actively running the daily service scoreboard - monitoring conversion rates, average tickets, and technician billable efficiency in real time.
  • Technician Accountability: Leading high-energy morning huddles, auditing field processes, and ensuring no technician cuts corners on our customer service playbook.
  • Performance Tracking: Running structured, metrics-based reviews. We operate on a performance-and-results model, not a friendship model.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
  • You manage by "feeling" instead of diving into data, tracking lead measures, and managing metrics.
  • You allow crews to give excuses or accept substandard work because "it's hard to find good people."
  • You side with complaining employees over company standards just to be "liked." We are building a winning business, not a social club.

Ready to Command the Scoreboard?
If you're the kind of leader who runs the numbers, holds the standard, and refuses to accept excuses - we want to talk.
