Description
LaborFirst is seeking a highly organized, proactive, strategic, and trusted professional to serve as Director of Executive Operations supporting the Founder & CEO.
This highly visible role serves as the operational extension of the CEO, helping manage executive priorities, optimize organizational effectiveness, coordinate strategic initiatives, and ensure seamless execution across a wide range of business activities. The Director of Executive Operations will serve as a key liaison between the CEO, senior leadership team, clients, partners, board members, and external stakeholders.
In addition to supporting LaborFirst executive operations, the role will provide limited oversight and coordination of select personal business interests, philanthropic initiatives, and external activities that fall outside of the day-to-day operations of LaborFirst.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, exceptionally professional, exercises sound judgment, operates with complete discretion, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting a founder-led organization.
Executive & CEO Operations
• Manage and maintain an active and complex executive calendar
• Coordinate meetings, leadership discussions, speaking engagements, board activities, and strategic initiatives
• Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
• Assist with prioritization and management of key projects, deadlines, and follow-up items
• Coordinate executive communications and ensure timely completion of action items
• Prepare meeting materials, presentations, agendas, and supporting documentation
• Support planning and logistics for Board meetings, leadership meetings, company events, and strategic planning sessions
• Help prioritize communications and protect executive time and focus
• Partner closely with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership team to drive organizational alignment and execution
Strategic Project Coordination
• Assist in the coordination and tracking of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects
• Monitor progress against key priorities and ensure accountability for deliverables
• Facilitate communication between departments and stakeholders as needed
• Support special projects, research initiatives, and executive requests
• Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness
Oversight and Support of Personal Business Activities
• Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, insurance professionals, bankers, and other trusted advisors regarding personal business matters
• Assist with organization and administration of personal business interests and external investments
• Support coordination of philanthropic initiatives, charitable giving activities, foundation-related efforts, and community involvement
• Maintain important records, contacts, schedules, and related documentation associated with personal business activities
• Coordinate travel and logistics associated with external business interests, charitable activities, and select personal commitments
• Provide support with service provider management and coordination of external projects to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and execution
Travel & Executive Logistics
• Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements
• Develop detailed itineraries and manage executive travel logistics
• Coordinate transportation, accommodations, reservations, and meeting schedules
• Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or travel-related issues proactively
• Support family travel coordination when appropriate
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5+ years supporting a CEO, founder, senior executive, chief of staff, or executive leadership team
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Strong business judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Highly professional with impeccable discretion and confidentiality
• Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, calendar management, travel planning, and organizational systems
