Job description

DEL SOL

Facilities Services

We're Hiring: Operations Manager

Full-Time, Exempt|Field-Based (Regional)|Frequent Travel to Client Sites

Del Sol is looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to lead the performance, culture, and execution of our janitorial and facilities services contracts across an assigned region. If you're the kind of leader who owns problems instead of waiting for direction, holds a high standard for your team, and wants a clear path to regional oversight, we want to talk to you.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you'll be the front-line leader for a portfolio of client contracts - responsible for quality, financial performance, and team execution at every site. You'll manage Jr. Operations Managers, Contract Supervisors, and Team Leads, and you'll be measured on your ability to drive operational excellence, exceed client expectations, and build a team that lives our values every day: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Play to Win (LDRSHIP).

What You'll Do

Own full contract performance - quality, execution, and financials - across multiple client sites.

Communicate proactively with clients and Management, including weekly updates, client check-ins, and prompt routing of scope changes and pricing requests.

Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and care for the client, and hold your team to the LDRSHIP standard.

Solve problems at the root - fixing what's broken today and building processes that prevent it from recurring.

Lead staff management end-to-end: recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, and terminations.

Run monthly quality control inspections on schedule, issue improvement plans, and track them to closure.

Manage supply inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control cost and prevent shrinkage.

Deliver corporate training programs, including safety and federally required certifications.

Support new contract startups - staffing, onboarding, training, and scope-of-work execution.

Travel regularly to client locations within your region, with occasional overnight travel.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of industry or relevant leadership experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

A proven track record leading teams and managing client-facing operations.

Strong client-facing presence, with the ability to present to and influence customers and leadership.

Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.

Experience managing complex budgets, invoicing, and extra-work billing.

Strong project management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check.

Flexibility with work hours and schedule, and comfort with frequent regional travel.

Why Del Sol

This role is built for high performers who want more than a job title - it's a clear track toward regional leadership, in a company that measures success by results and rewards the people who deliver them.
