Global Dimensions is seeking a Junior Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to support a mission-critical program in Quantico, Virginia. This position supports the collection, exploitation, analysis, and reporting of open-source intelligence in support of operational, strategic, and national security objectives.
The Junior OSINT Analyst conducts open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis in response to Government Requests for Information (RFIs) and other intelligence taskings. The analyst will collect, exploit, evaluate, and synthesize publicly available information from multiple sources to produce actionable intelligence products supporting government operations.
The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, experience with commercial OSINT tools and managed attribution technologies, and the ability to produce high-quality intelligence products while operating within Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
Essential Job Functions:
Conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection, exploitation, analysis, and reporting in response to Government Requests for Information (RFIs) and operational taskings.
Collaborate with Government personnel to clarify intelligence requirements and refine collection strategies.
Collect, evaluate, and analyze publicly available information using commercial internet resources, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, SCINet, and approved government systems.
Develop and execute open-source research strategies to address intelligence gaps and mission requirements.
Produce timely, accurate, and well-supported Open Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs), intelligence assessments, briefings, and analytical products.
Populate, maintain, and validate databases supporting OSINT operations in coordination with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, relationships, patterns, and correlations across multiple information sources.
Utilize Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) tools to aggregate, structure, visualize, and assess open-source information.
Evaluate the relevance, credibility, authenticity, and reliability of open-source information and its originating sources.
Utilize managed attribution (MA) software and associated online tradecraft while understanding operational limitations and security considerations.
Develop innovative analytical approaches by integrating data from multiple tools and information sources.
Conduct manual exploitation of media, social media, academic publications, government documents, videos, mapping applications, and other publicly available sources.
Verify the authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness of information using multiple verification techniques and digital investigative methods.
Translate foreign-language articles, publications, media, and online content into English when language skills are applicable.
Prepare professional reports, graphics, presentations, and briefings using Microsoft Office applications.
Present analytical findings and research methodologies to Government stakeholders.
Participate in meetings, conferences, training events, and operational exercises.
Assist with evaluating emerging OSINT technologies, tools, and tradecraft.
Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and new OSINT methodologies.
Assist in training and mentoring government personnel on OSINT tradecraft and analytical techniques when required.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission objectives.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Completion of a joint-accredited OSINT training course, such as:

Commercial equivalents including CASO (BlackHorse Solutions), SANS SEC497, or SANS SEC587
Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field from an accredited institution; or
Four (4) additional years of directly related experience (seven years total) in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Minimum three (3) years of experience conducting intelligence analysis or OSINT-related work, with at least a portion of that experience obtained within the past two (2) years.
Experience using commercial OSINT tools and online research platforms.
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidance and handling procedures.
Experience producing intelligence reports, briefings, and analytical assessments.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
Apply Intelligence Community and DoD classification guidance and security procedures.
Conduct structured, methodical research while complying with applicable security protocols.
Collect, evaluate, organize, synthesize, and maintain information from multiple open sources.
Assess the credibility, reliability, and relevance of publicly available information.
Recognize inconsistencies, contradictions, deception, and information gaps across multiple data sources.

Evaluate intelligence reporting and understand intelligence collection capabilities, limitations, and collection management processes.

Work independently with limited supervision while effectively supporting collaborative analytical teams.
Desired Skills:
Candidates with one or more of the following are highly desired:
Foreign language proficiency in Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Korean, Mandarin Chinese, or Russian, with a current DLPT score of 3/3 or higher (within the past five years).
Experience using managed attribution (MA) technologies.
Experience with advanced OSINT collection platforms, link analysis, geospatial analysis, and social media exploitation tools.
Experience supporting Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Agency (NSA), or other Intelligence Community organizations.
Experience administering or supporting Expeditionary OSINT training.
Familiarity with data science, data visualization, or scripting languages such as Python.
