Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Manassas seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in Manassas with inpatient rounding at our Inova Hospitals. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at both locations.

Joining a team of 75 Cardiologists with a variety of clinical specialties, including heart failure/transplant, interventional cardiology, imaging, non-invasive cardiology, electrophysiology and interventional pulmonology. 18 surgeons (6 cardiac surgeons and 2 pediatric cardiac surgeons). APP Support. Academic culture with weekly conference, teaching medical students and residents. Participation in clinical trials.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in Virginia.
  • Experience: successful completion of residency program.
  • Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
  • Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
