  • Shift Rotation: 1-month rotations through 4x10 1st & 2nd Shift (Mon–Thu) and 3x10 1st Shift (Fri–Sun)

Must-Have Skill
  • VAST Wire EDM experience is required.
  • We are specifically looking for a machinist with VAST Wire EDM experience who can assist with training across all shifts.
     
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate plain, universal, horizontal, and vertical milling machines.
  • Perform machining operations including compound angles, contours, boring, helical/spiral milling, serrating, gear, spline, and keyway cutting.
  • Select, mount, and align specialized machine attachments and tooling.
  • Plan machining sequences, setups, cuts, speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and engineering specifications.
  • Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform shop calculations and accurately lay out stock for machining.
  • Perform in-process measurements and quality checks.
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment while maintaining exacting tolerances.
  • Support Wire EDM operations and tooling activities.
     
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Blueprint reading experience.
  • 3, 4 & 5-Axis Milling
  • MCAM Programming
  • Measurement & Inspection experience
  • Experience performing own machine setups and determining machining sequences.
     
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of CNC milling experience
  • 5-axis CNC mill experience
  • CNC lathe experience with live tooling
  • Ability to interpret drawings/models and material requirements.
  • CNC programming, machine setup, and complete machining operations with minimal supervision
  • In-process and pre-inspection quality checks
  • Experience with CMM inspection
  • Experience with true 5-axis SNK gantry machines
  • VAST Wire EDM experience
  • Ability to train/support machinists across multiple shifts.
