INTEGRATED NETWORK CONCEPTS (INC) is seeking a self-driven Network/Server Engineer who can provide competent assistance to small businesses with moderately complex networks. The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and evolving network, server, and end point solutions for our clients. Solutions can consist of hardware, system software, security and other components. This often requires enough business savvy to understand regulations, budget constraints, and other pressures a client’s business might have to design a right-sized solution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Assist with the design of solutions as requested by our Solutions Engineering team
  • Provide technical assistance to manage client infrastructure by providing diagnostics, trouble-shooting, and technical documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Networking, Server, and/or endpoint support/management
  • Understanding of networks, computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Must have prior experience as a network and/or computer engineer
  • Strong design and technical communication skills
  • Customer-focused
