Summary
The Deputy Music Director works with the music director and WXAV music committee to develop a monthly A-List and specialty music A-List, listens to all new music to check lyrics and edit for compliance with FCC and WXAV rules and regulations.
This student employment opportunity supports the development of skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies. Through this role, students will strengthen the following competencies:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assists with events, promotions, and giveaway and complies the weekly NACC charts. The Deputy Music Director assists in maintaining both the physical and digital library, and arranges interviews and concerts tickets to hard rock and hip-hop acts. Along with the other members of management, the deputy music director evaluates various student broadcasts, to ensure that FCC rules and regulations are met, and to offer feedback on the DJ's program. The Deputy Music Director also assists in planning, and promoting of promotional events. Finally, the Deputy Music Director is a member of the Student Media Street Team.

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
Background in Communication preferred.
