Administrative Assistant – Mortgage Company - IN OFFICE POSITION ONLY.


Hourly Rate: $22.00


We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our mortgage company. This role will provide administrative support to management and staff while also assisting with basic Human Resources (HR) functions.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry is preferred, along with some HR or personnel administration experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to management and employees.
  • Prepare, scan, organize, and maintain documents and electronic files.
  • Assist with office supplies, mail, and day-to-day office needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.
  • Track outstanding documents and follow up on administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist mortgage staff with loan files and other operational tasks.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits, and other HR tasks as needed.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employees, customers, and company information.


Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or office experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
